IGMM to apply for an Athena SWAN Bronze Award: August 2013 The Athena SWAN Charter recognises commitment to advancing women's careers in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM) employment in academia. The University of Edinburgh is a member of the Charter and holds a Bronze Institutional Award, allowing individual units to bid for awards. The School of Molecular, Genetic and Population Health Sciences – incorporating the Institute of Genetics and Molecular Medicine - and the School of Clinical Sciences are applying for an Athena SWAN Bronze Award this autumn, as detailed on the Athena SWAN bid website.
